Simple Golf Driving Tips

Whoever said you drive for show and putt for dough never made a buffalo nickel from the tees! You MUST drive the ball successfully to be able to score in this game.

Golfers are constantly looking for golf driving tips from anyone that has them. If you’re in line at the supermarket and run into your neighbor who is a 5 handicap, you know golf is bound to come up. When you sit down and watch professional golfers and wonder how they bomb the ball 290 and seem to swing so easy.

Most golfers I know want, at a minimum to get off the tee to at least get them in the game and enjoy their round. However, as you find yourself telling your playing partners after your tee shots, that you will meet them on the green and then go hiking in the woods for your ball, you know the pain of having a nice round of golf destroyed because you can’t get off the tee.

There must be a better way to play you mutter to yourself. There must be a quick and easy solution that the pros and good golfers share but just won’t divulge. Here’s a newsflash for you guys, there is no easy, quick fix. There is no secret move. There is no new super $500 Driver or new set of irons or hybrids that will fix a crappy golf swing. The secret to a better golf game is a better, more balanced and more consistent golf swing.

The answer is to start from the foundation up. Take 1 aspect of the swing at a time. The grip is the starting point and then you work your way through to your stance and then the swing. I tested all the quick fixes and changing drivers and studying golf digest for other golf driving tips and new putting secrets. I finally found the one program that made sense to me. Bobby Eldrich’s PurePoint Golf Swing program. It was the one of the only swing programs that focused on balance and the proper plane, which I found out was the secret to a consistently repeatable solid swing. The swing analyzer software and tracking tools were great to track my progress. The group forums and newsletters and email video tips make you feel part of a community of golfers looking to improve. I highly recommend it to all my readers.
